Leads and manages the people management related agenda for a Business Group. The HR Business Partner assumes a significant leadership role in the people management area and acts as the facilitator for the management team of the Business Group. Acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers. Leads change management projects and manages the HR related internal and external communication. Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in people management. Identifies and prepares development plans for the key and high potential employees, and identifies employees ready for promotion and rotates best talents across different functions in the organization. The partner actively supports discussions and transfers best practices from different functions in the organization. Designs succession plans for key talents and key job positions. Challenges the organizational structure of the internal client and proposes changes.
HRBP Job Details include:
- Partners with management to implement and execute HR programs and business rhythms such as performance management, merit, awards, compensation analyses, open enrollment, training, talent management, workforce development, retention and planning, etc.
- Works with management, finance, proposal teams, business development, and talent acquisition to ensure the proper head-count and skills mix for each client group.
- Provides consultation on employee relations issues such as misconduct and performance issues. Follows up or initiates investigation as necessary.Prepares reports and performs regular internal audits of the client group by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and market trends.

The candidate will work with a small team to design and build novel research prototypes in the areas of cyber defense and networking with the eventual goal of transitioning the prototypes into products. He or she will be responsible for development of both FPGA designs and embedded systems software, and should be comfortable picking up new technologies.
Note: The location for this position is flexible to anywhere along the I-95 corridor between Washington DC and New York. Perspecta Labs headquarters is in Basking Ridge, NJ. Role: This position is a key leadership role within Perspecta Labs focusing within the wireless systems and networks research areas. The position will develop and lead research in digital RF communications, RF signal processing, spectrum sensing and will employ novel concepts to bring to bear to hard problems. The ideal candidate should have existing relationships within customer agencies (DARPA, CERDEC, AFRL, and Intelligence Customers) and should have managed multiple different research projects sponsored by these organizations. Key Responsibilities: - Developing a unified technical and business strategy for the Wireless Systems and Networks department - Expanding both the business and customer base of the department - Ensuring successful execution of ongoing and upcoming projects - Line management, including recruiting, hiring and professional staff development - Collaborating with other managers within the company to ensure the overall success of the organization

Requires a thorough understanding of Android internals in order to meet very specific security and networking requirements. - Apply a thorough understanding of the basics of IP networks and their workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, etc.) - Generate detailed requirements and design documents and user manuals for products - Travel (20%) to customer sites (location TBD) may be required
Your specific responsibilities will include: • Working with a team of researchers to analyze the vulnerabilities of control plane protocols for different types of wireless radios, including 802.11 and LTE. • Developing techniques to detect and mitigate attacks against these protocols. • Developing simulations of these protocols and conducting performance assessments of the developed technologies. • Implementing these defense techniques on relevant radios and conducting field experimentation. • Performing scientific experiments, investigations, observations and related research studies into the nature and operation of wireless networks, using the scientific methods. • Participating in intellectual property evaluations and development of patent applications. • Co-authoring conference and journal publications describing research results.
Perform wireless system development on software defined radio (SDR) platforms using the GNU Radio platform. Specific responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: - Designing, analyzing, modeling, and simulating signal processing algorithms for wireless system applications, including communications, signals collection, RF geolocation and electronic attack. - Implementing, debugging and testing wireless application prototypes on third-party software-defined radio (SDR) platforms using GNU Radio. - Writing design documents, simulation reports, and system documentation. Participating in technical business development activities, including meeting with prospective customers, developing technical concept studies, and contributing to new business proposals.
Responsible for analyzing and developing wireless telecommunications capabilities for various operations. Design and build custom applications. Design, plan, establish, and optimize wireless networks. Develop wireless network infrastructures and make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization. Provide technical assessment of requirements and definition from conception to launch. Design and validate RF link performance, quality and reliability. Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and adjust equipment. Create manuals and support documentation. Develop software for wireless technology. Optimize existing network by adjusting radio network parameters, adding/deleting of neighbors and recommending possible solutions to hardware problems. Monitor and analyze statistical and drive test data to improve system performance indicators such as dropped calls, blocked calls, origination failures, handoff features. Apply propagation theory, cellular theory, and antenna theory to choose tower antenna placement. Responsible for capacity planning, GSM frequency planning and frequency hopping by applying carrier/interference (C/I) ratio analysis. Recommend site upgrade such as down tilling of antenna and re-orientation of radio additions. Support customers in the development, acquisition, and sustainment activities of complex RF systems used in Communications, Radar, and Electronic Warfare. Responsibilities will include the design and evaluation of up/down converters, and amplifiers, MMICs, MCMs, and TRMs. Reverse engineer legacy RF hardware systems to develop obsolesce plans, test procedures, and perform trade analysis. Conduct and develop Test & Evaluation plans for RF test stations and field test events for system/subsystem manufacturing and fleet support. Must be able develop and present technical reports. Perform modeling and simulation of RF circuits and RF propagation Experience designing radar phased array T/R module experience. Highly desired experience with Agilent ADS, ANSYS HFSS, NI LabView, and MatLab Modeling Near-Field antenna patterns. Phase noise analysis. Proficient with MS tools.
