Required Qualifications • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (prefer graduate degree) • Proficiency in at least one systems programming language (e.g. C, C++) and at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Perl) • Demonstrated hands-on experience with operating systems (Linux or Windows). • Effective communication and writing skills. • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident. Desired Qualifications • Experience with cyber security technologies including intrusion detection and attack mitigation. • Experience with performing scientific experiments, investigations, observations and related research studies into the nature and operation of computer and networked systems, using scientific methods. • Experience with modeling and simulation of wired and wireless networks using tools such as ns-3, OPNET, QualNet. • Experience with virtualization technologies.
