    Leads and manages the people management related agenda for a Business Group.  The HR Business Partner assumes a significant leadership role in the people management area and acts as the facilitator for the management team of the Business Group. Acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers. Leads change management projects and manages the HR related internal and external communication. Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in people management. Identifies and prepares development plans for the key and high potential employees, and identifies employees ready for promotion and rotates best talents across different functions in the organization. The partner actively supports discussions and transfers best practices from different functions in the organization. Designs succession plans for key talents and key job positions. Challenges the organizational structure of the internal client and proposes changes.


    HRBP Job Details include:

    • Partners with management to implement and execute HR programs and business rhythms such as performance management, merit, awards, compensation analyses, open enrollment, training, talent management, workforce development, retention and planning, etc.
    • Works with management, finance, proposal teams, business development, and talent acquisition to ensure the proper head-count and skills mix for each client group.
    • Provides consultation on employee relations issues such as misconduct and performance issues. Follows up or initiates investigation as necessary.Prepares reports and performs regular internal audits of the client group by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and market trends.
    • Supports tactical requests such as HRIS actions, data calls, population report requests, support of expatriate employees, relocation requests, employee exits, and ensures managers and employees are appropriately utilizing/following the HR service model.
    • Partners with leadership on workforce transformation strategies. Facilitates workforce transitions by identifying new assignments, executing RIFs and furloughs.
    • Supports new business activities within assigned business group(s) by providing guidance on staffing forecasting, contingent hiring, labor mapping, resume and data calls, on-boarding, etc.
    • Supports and/or leads special projects as directed. Provide surge support for critical HR initiatives as needed. 
    • Leadand partner effectively with all levels of the organization and been seen as integrator and solution provider. 

    Technical Recruiter Job Details include:

    • Interviews applicants; recommends employment; plans manpower requirements
    • Provides employment information to applicants
    • Sources and prescreens candidates, participates in interviews, assists managers with reference checks, develops competitive job offers and tracks candidates in the applicant tracking system. 
    • Communicates with hiring manager on the status of requisitions, candidate quality and candidate pipeline
    • Creates and fosters relationships with colleagues and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit critical skilled candidates, alumni and diversity applicants


    • Requires BA/BS with 10 years of experience with at least 4 years of management level responsibility. Incumbent has specialized knowledge in at least one area of expertise and a general knowledge in 1-2 other areas (sufficient work experience may be substituted for education).
    • Standard office environment with some travel required to facilities based throughout the United States.
    • Strong talent network of contacts in the technology research and development space, particularly in government contracting work, in the New Jersey and/or Washington DC metro area(s).
    • Experience recruiting cleared candidates

    • Flexible, innovative with the ability to excel in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
    • Ability to scale and quickly adapt as business needs change

    • Outstanding teamwork capabilities and when needed, ability to support unforeseen assignments and tasks through demonstration of personal initiative.
    • Ability to execute assignments or projects with excellence, with minimal supervision or rework.
    • Excellent computer skills, e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
